Strand Duinhoevepad

Discover the breathtaking Natuurstrand Duinhoevepad on the coast of Schouwen-Duiveland, near Renesse. This beach is ideal for adventurous visitors who want to kite surf or go horseback riding, as horse riding is allowed between Domeinen 2 and Watergat, while walking your dogs is allowed from 1 October to 31 March. The Duinhoevepad is part of the beautiful beaches of Renesse, which cover a total of about 17 kilometers of the Schouwen coast. Within the designated zone, nude recreation is also permitted on this beach.

Verklikkerplaat 

The Verklikkerplaat, off the coast between the beach entrances Duinhoevepad and Wilhelminahoeve in Renesse, is a dangerous plate during rising tide. The telltale plate makes contact with the beach at low tide, allowing you to walk onto the plate. In the past, it has happened that people were surprised by the rising tide and waded through the water to reach the beach. In other cases, they were pulled off the slab by the rescue team. Warning signs make it clear that it is dangerous there. Stay alert and walk along the dunes. When the water rises, stay behind the dunes. Do not ignore the warnings. In doing so, not only put yourself and your loved ones in danger but also those who need to come to your aid.
