Duiklocatie:Zonneschijn Zuiveringsinstallatie - Oosterland (28)
It's a relatively unknown diving spot in Zeeland, yet still interesting. You can easily enter the water from the small spit of land on your left. The seabed is covered with stones from old dike reinforcements, which are beautifully overgrown with various types of anemones. Visibility at this dive site is better at ebb tide, after the low tide turning, compared to the incoming tide. By keeping the dive shallow, strong currents can be avoided. Up to a depth of around 18 metres, the seabed is covered with hard substrate, after which it consists mainly of sand.
The Oosterschelde is quite narrow in this section, so the shipping channel lies close to the dive site. Diving in the shipping channel is prohibited.
