Christmas with Friends - Sweet was the Song
Soprano Marlotte van ’t Hoff and trombonist Jurgen van Oostenbrugge will present a varied Advent and Christmas program on Saturday afternoon, December 14, 2024, in the church "Onder d’n Diek" in Bruinisse. Following the success of previous editions of Christmas with Friends, Marlotte and Jurgen have chosen a new theme this year. Under the title “Sweet was the Song”, the musicians will perform Advent and Christmas songs with a unique twist. In addition to new works and various crossovers, there will also be space for familiar repertoire. Specially for this concert, several new arrangements have been written.

The recurring Christmas with Friends editions are known for their diverse instrumentation and the involvement of guest musicians. This time, the collaboration with guitarist Dik de Koning and pianist Marco van ’t Hoff creates a unique sound experience.
