Syb van der Ploeg - World Singers

Syb van der Ploeg, a true performer and theater enthusiast, is the driving force behind theater productions such as De Kast, Motel Westcoast, The Best of Britain, and The Stones versus The Beatles Battle. Over the past years, he has successfully toured Dutch theaters with these productions. Now, he embarks on a new project, 'Wereldzangers' (World Singers).

The charismatic Frisian artist with many musical faces will now bring the stories and music of the world's greatest singers, performers, and frontmen. In an intimate setting, he steps into the shoes of his idols, including Mick Jagger, Don Henley, and Freddie Mercury, for this first edition.

What is the power of these singers? What is their message, and why have these frontmen inspired millions? Through their stories, music, and his own experiences as the frontman of De Kast, Syb will explore these questions with multi-instrumentalist Hubert Heeringa and pianist Wiebe Kaspers.
