Strand Domeinen 1
Domeinen 1 is one of the four beautiful beaches next to each other at the head of Westenschouwen. These wide beaches offer a panoramic view of the imposing Oosterscheldekering. On the land side, the beaches border the beautiful Westerschouwen Forestry. The sea here is part of the 'Voordelta', a protected nature reserve known for its rich flora and fauna, with numerous birds, fish, and seals.
Domeinen 1 is a natural beach that is perfect for a relaxing day at the seaside. The beach is popular with sunbathers, walkers, and water sports enthusiasts. Horse riding is available from 1 October to 30 April, while walking your dogs is allowed from 1 October to 31 March. Due to its sheltered location, it is also great to stay here on windy days.
